WoW: Cataclysm Release Date (Rumor)
Amazon sent out an email today to World of Warcraft: Cataclysm pre-order customers. The email claims that the game will be released on November 23rd.
As WoW Insider notes, Amazon's release dates aren't always ironclad. They may just be guessing based on the fact that November 23rd is the sixth year anniversary of WoW's launch. It would be a nice release date for the expansion, though, as it's right before a long holiday weekend here in the States.
MMO Champion claimed earlier this month that the release date is November 2nd. As they noted at the time, though, Blizzard could very well push this date back. Cataclysm is currently in closed beta while Patch 4.0, the update that paves the way for the expansion, is on the public test realm. The release date will perhaps come down to how smoothly the testing proceeds.

SteelSeries Shift Gaming Keyboard: Perfect For Micro-ing Your WoW Skills
As i run through thru the net looking for a better gaming keyboard that I'm using i found this one, SteelSeries Shift Gaming Keyboard. This really suits my gaming needs specially with micro-ing WoW Skills, that in just one click you have your set of WoW Skills done.
I'm amaze on how many can program / settings you can set / store.. ZILLIONS of programmable macro keys. WTF!
Built upon the Zboard, the SteelSeries Shift isn't just another gaming keyboard with zillions of programmable macro keys. It successfully distinguishes itself from the others with its revolutionary interchangeable game keysets. In a nut shell, the Shift allows you to swap out the standard keyset with one tailor-made for your game - that is, if SteelSeries licenses the right from the publisher. The original Zboard already has a large fan following; you can find themed keysets for triple A titles including Aion, Battlefield 1942, Doom 3, StarCraft 2 and World of Warcraft. Having said that, it makes sense for SteelSeries to make a successor.
Besides the interchangeable keysets, the SteelSeries Shift is now much more solid which now can endure up to 15 million keystrokes per key. The company thoughtfully fine-tuned some keys requiring you to use less force than other keys. The media controls for example will require you to apply more pressure on them. Should you want to customize the macros yourself, the Shift has 3 layers of on-the-fly macros which you can record onto the keyboard itself. At the same time, the Shift can even record your timing of the keystrokes. Last but not least are the USB audio and 2-port USB hub. The SteelSeries Shift is available now for $89.99.

35 Year Old Woman Charged With Seducing Minor Of 15 Year Old
Angie L. Jenkins may find herself stuck in a dungeon of sorts after having sex with a minor that she met through World of Warcraft.
Romance in World of Warcraft is nothing new. Plenty of like-minded gamers have dated, fallen in love, and gotten married after meeting in this fantasy world. However, not all of these stories have happy endings. For Angie L. Jenkins, one such romance ended with felony charges after she drove across the country to sleep with a sixteen-year-old that she met through the online game.
Jenkins - who presumably isn't related to the Leeroy Jenkins that made internet history a few years back - started chatting with the teenager last year. She told him that she was 21, when she was actually 35, and he told her that he was 20.
From there, the relationship moved from the internet to phone conversations, finally culminating in a cross-country trip to Amherst, New York, where the pair had sex in a parking lot. By this point, Jenkins was well-aware of the teenager's real age, but had decided to pursue the relationship regardless.
While the question of how the authorities got involved remains unanswered, the case eventually made its way to the FBI. One subpoena later, Jenkins found herself indicted for the charge of "using the Internet to entice an underage person into sexual activity."
Jenkins, who has been married twice and has five children, is believed to be the first woman to be charged with this crime in western New York.
For all of you kids out there playing World of Warcraft, be vigilant. That cute Night Elf that is totally into you may actually be a mother in her mid-thirties. You probably shouldn't meet them in a parking lot.

Remote Auction House Service @ WoW Mobile Armory
Source: joystiq.com
The newest version of the World of Warcraft Mobile Armory has been released on iTunes, featuring a 3-D model viewer for all characters, activity feeds similar to the ones on the web version of the armory, and optimizations for Apple's iOS 4.0.
This update could be laying the groundwork for the newly revealed mobile guild chat service available through the armory app, potentially unlocked in the near future for subscribers to Blizzard's Remote Auction House service. Hopefully, more light will be shed on this functionality in the near future. Until then, get updating, because these new features are pretty neat. Previously, I would have had to bookmark the armory's RSS feed for my characters and open them in Safari on the iPhone, but with the new activity feeds built right into the armory app, things have gotten a lot less clunky. Well I do hope buying wow gold cheap adopt this application for easy and fastest buying of world of warcraft gold.
Included in the update is a cool feature called screenshot mode, allowing you to take cool pictures of your characters in front of lots of backdrops, including the racial capital cities. The screenshot mode will even remove all of the interface elements from the phone, giving you a clean shot.

Story of Starving Student helped by RMT
I'm a Wowhead. I play World of Warcraft all the time (really!) and have created several characters in the game with lots of virtual gear, items and currency, more than enough to play the game. This is a story about how selling World of Warcraft Gold helped me survive through hard times. First, you have to know that Real Money Trading or RMT has been the subject of endless debate between online game publishers and game players who buy and sell virtual game items (the stuff you acquire during game play, like swords and currency). I'm going to leave those two factions to their argument. But let me tell you, RMT saved this starving student, and gave me the ability to pay the monthly subscription fee required to play the game!
I've invested a lot of time and effort (and admittedly, skipped a few classes) in order to level my characters up to the level cap of 80 (as you play the game, your character earns experience...and you slowly increase your “experience level"...which is desirable because every time you earn a new level, your character's attributes improve). One of the side effects of spending a lot of time leveling up is that you acquire lots of virtual stuff in the process. My friends joke that my toons have more WoW Gold than Fort Knox.
Unfortunately, in the real world where the sub prime meltdown has financially nuked everyone – even my parents are struggling – my pocket money shrank to the point that I wasn't sure I could continue to pay my monthly subscription to WoW. If you're a WoW junkie, you have a pretty good idea of the panic that thought causes.
I sold some stuff (a guitar I never really played anyway) and reduced my “entertainment" budget to pizza and leveling up yet another WoW toon. At the suggestion of a gamer gal pal (whom I'm hoping has a fetish for poor WoWheads) I started selling my game items to friends and guild members for real money. Eureka! Just when I thought I was going to have to alternate a slice of cardboard with each slice of pizza, selling WoW Gold cheap afforded me that third important daily meal and another 90 days of playtime! Did anyone ever REALLY imagine that buying and selling swords that don't really exist would become a billion dollar business and (along the way) save my skinny, starving behind? What's that? It's against the publisher's rules? Please, don't start. Welcome to the AIR AGE.
Starcraft II: Sells three million on first month
When Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty was released, researchers were bullish with their guesses, with projections of as much as 7,000,000 copies this year. Blizzard is making progress towards these figures, as the publisher announced today one-month sales of 3,000,000 copies.
Starcraft II sold 1,000,000 copies on July twenty-seven when it hit stores across the world and another 500k copies on day two, making it the fastest-selling real time methodology game in history, according to Blizzard . While these numbers don't come near to matching those generated by World of Warcraft--Wrath of the Lich King sold 2.8 million copies in its first day--Blizzard's Chairman Mike Morhaime today announced himself pleased by "how strongly the global community has welcomed [Starcraft II]." The Corporal will see you nowall 3,000,000 of you.
Colin Sebastian of Lazard Capital Markets, who made the 7,000,000 sales guesstimate, expounded today the one-month figures show that "sales weren't as front-loaded as some had anticipated" and that Starcraft II's numbers "are tracking a little before our 4,000,000 guess for [the July-September quarter]." These guesses include some monetization of sales in South Korea, one of the major markets for the game, which Sebastian claimed hadn't yet had an effect on sales statistics due to an extended free test period for game-players in the Asian nation. After officially asserting the title in South Korea at the 2007 Worldwide Invitational in Seoul, Blizzard confirmed in 2008 the game would come in 3 parts. Wings of Liberty, number one in the trifecta, was at first scheduled for release in 2009 but got delayed just before the vacation season. While Wings of Liberty focused on the Terran race, the other 2 parts--Heart of the Swarm and Inheritance of the Void--focus on the Zerg and Protoss . Neither of the other 2 parts--which are technically expansions--have a date of release yet.

How to protect yourself from the real-life villains targeting WoW
How precisely are you able to defend yourself from the real-world villains targeting WoW? The best tools at your disposal are going to be informed of the most typical ploys, when you purchase and sell virtual assets work only with proved, credible corporations and do not think anything about the other party except that they might be out to take your stuff. For example, a player maybe a friend you in the game, and later on ask to borrow World of Warcraft Gold, items or perhaps access to the guild bank. There are several cases of conmen pretending to be staff of the game publisher, known as Game Master. Usually they ask you to verify your account login info, which they then use to take your account. Many players have fallen for this trick. Never give your login info to any person.
Phishing is the activity of pinching usernames, passwords and even private info through the utilization of fake internet sites and forms.
It's customarily spread thru links and e-mails disguised as originating from a genuine service supplier , for example Paypal, or perhaps the official WOW site. When a gullible user enters their login info, the user-name and password is caught and sent to the sneaky hacker. The victim's account is then stripped of gear. Regularly , the account login info is modified, and the account is then sold to an unwary buyer. The easy answer to this evil problem is simple.
Never provide info at once thru a mail / link sent to you for any basis. Instead, visit the official site by typing their URL into your browser by hand. Doing so will eliminate any chance that you're going to accidentally become a victim of a phishing site. Always be conscious of the corporations with whom you do business. It is well established that many China-based gold sellers don't stick to ethical business practices. The list of abuses includes non delivery of products ordered, violent in-game spam, dealing in nicked products and nicked visa cards, and so on. Sites like Wowmine.com, which latterly found itself the star of a click-fraud legal action filed by Microsoft.. Avoid all these Chinese sites it's way better to be safe than sorrowful. To summarise, be cautious to possible crime. Keep your passwords to oneself. Utilise a Snowstorm Authenticator. Do not be lured by offers that are too fantastic to be true, and never visit suspicious links. Buy WoW gold cheap and other virtual game items and accessories from reputable firms.
